The Bushpro Hiballer is their most popular shovel, and for good reason. It is made from 3mm thick steel and is heat treated to Rockwell C 38-45. This shovel can be left as is, or can be easily modified to meet any tree planter's needs without compromising its strength.
Users can adjust the length by cutting the shaft and remounting the handle. This flexibility enables the Hiballer to work in various situations. Its pointed tip makes for easier penetration. Bushpro warranties the Hiballer against any defects for the life of the shovel (excludes regular wear and tear).

New for 2015, Bushpro will be changing the shafts in their D-handled shovels from steel to American Hickory. Wooden shafts will be just as strong but provide better shock absorption than steel. This change was made in order to help reduce repetitive strain injuries. Wooden shafts will also be easier to shorten than the steel ones. The new wooden shaft versions are expected to be available by the end of March 2015.
